Release notes SATOS 5.29 – Kill Classic release

SATOS 5.29 code name “Kill Classic” was just released.

In 2020 we initiated a project to renew the entire code base for SATOS. It has been released bit by bit since then. Today we finally conclude this project, killing off all the old parts of the code – hence the internal project name “Kill Classic”.

For this release we have refurbished the following:
– Lab module. The lab module has been rewritten to improve user friendliness and performance.
– Training system. The part of SATOS dealing with emergency response training has been recreated with new and improved design and updated functionality
– E-learning. The e-learning functionality has been updated to meet modern requirements, making it easier for administrators to create, and users to use.
– Node diagrams. A mayor aspect of SATOS has always been the node diagrams. These however has been tiresome for the administrators to edit and update. This is now completely changed with the new version of node diagrams.

This release represent a huge milestone for Satvision Software, it forms the basis for our future development aiming to make SATOS even better for our current and future clients.
