Equinor took over as operator for the Martin Linge field in the North Sea in March 2018. According to plan, production is due to start Q1 2020. The platform will be operated from a control room onshore. Efficient coordination and integrated operations are key elements for success.
By means of SATOS, procedures and checklists will be available in digital form in the control room and in the field. Operators in both locations will be able to see how much of a procedure has been completed and what remains to be done. This will ensure a speedy start-up after a shutdown and contribute to safe and efficient operation of the facility.
SATOS is already being used in Equinor on the Mariner (UK) , Aasta Hansteen and Johan Sverdrup fields.
