Equinor has signed an agreement for the use of the SATOS tool for procedures and checklists in the Peregrino field phase 2.
With the help of SATOS, procedures, checklists and tasks will be available in digital format, both in control rooms, in fields on tablets and from operational centers on land.
SATOS in Portuguese
Equinor already uses SATOS in several fields in the Norwegian and UK sectors. As part of the delivery, the software package is translated into Portuguese.
About Peregrino
The Peregrino field is located offshore Brazil. Production started in 2011. The first phase consists of two wellhead platforms and an FPSO. Phase two starts according to plan in 2020 and will give the field a longer lifespan by adding yet another wellhead platform.
